Legal basis for processing

We process your data on the following bases: your consent (marketing communications, optional analytics and AI-assisted features); performance of a contract or steps taken at your request (answering your enquiry, arranging viewings); compliance with legal obligations (record keeping under the Real Estate Law); and our legitimate interests in operating and securing the platform.

Sharing of your information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share information with licensed agents or developers to fulfil your enquiries.

International transfers of your data

Some of our service providers process data outside Oman, including AI and email delivery providers and our vector search database. We only transfer personal data where the recipient provides protection equivalent to the Oman Personal Data Protection Law, and we ask for your specific consent before processing your enquiry with AI systems.

How long we keep your data

Active accounts: kept until you delete them. Inactive accounts: 2 years of inactivity. Enquiries: 5 years. Viewing requests: 5 years. Saved searches: 1 year of inactivity. Notifications: 90 days. Consent records: kept as proof of consent. Deleted accounts are erased or anonymised after a 30-day grace period.

How to exercise your rights

Use the “Your data & privacy” section of your dashboard to download or delete your data, or contact our Data Protection Officer. We respond to written requests within 45 days and do not charge a fee.

Complaints to the regulator

If you are not satisfied with how we handle your data you may lodge a complaint with the Ministry of Transport, Communications and Information Technology (MTCIT), the supervisory authority for the Personal Data Protection Law in the Sultanate of Oman.

Automated processing and AI

We use automated tools, including AI assistants, to help answer property questions and recommend listings. These tools do not make decisions that have legal effects on you without human involvement. You can decline AI processing at any time.

Children's data

Our services are not directed to children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with data, contact our Data Protection Officer so we can remove it.

How we protect your data

We use role-based access control, multi-factor authentication for privileged accounts, encryption in transit, audit logging and rate limiting to protect personal data.
